A recent study has reinforced this knowledge and provided yet more evidence of the benefit of zinc in increasing the sperm count. Groups of men with low sperm counts were given daily doses of zinc sulphate and folic acid. At the end of the test period the men were discovered to have a significant increase in their sperm count indicating the benefit of zinc and folic acid in improving the production of sperm by the testicles.
Samples taken from men attending a fertility clinic revealed that their sperm declined steadily in number, quality and ability to swim as mobile phone usage increased. Where men used their mobiles for more than four hours a day, researchers found a 30% drop in sperm motility or movement and viability when compared with men who did not use a mobile phone.
