What is Dry Milking?

Dry Milking is a variation of exercises based on Jelq exercises. As both sets of exercises are similar, both Dry Milking and Jelq involve motions that pull, stretch, and extend the penis in order to stimulate greater blood flow and cell growth to the genital region. According to studies, Jelq has been used by men for hundreds of years to stimulate greater penis enlargement benefits. Dry Milking, on the other hand, is a relatively modern twist on this ancient form of exercise.

When engaging in Jelq exercises, men are typically encouraged to use a lubricant, establish a semi-erection state, and then engage in the exercises by pulling and stretching the penis. Unlike Jelq, however, Dry Milking does not require lubricant or an erection. To try Dry Milking exercises, men simply follow the convenient and easy-to follow instructions:

  • Men should apply a warm compress or warm towel to the penis region in order to warm up
  • While maintaining a semi-flaccid state, men should take a firm grip of their penis. The penis should not be completely flaccid, nor should it be erect. Also, the grip on the penis should be firm, but not too hard where severe discomfort is experienced.
  • When firmly grasping the penis, men should use their forefinger and thumb to grasp the penis at the base, as they should then should slide the dry hand down the shaft of the penis to the mid-way point.
  • Once this point is reached, the opposite hand should repeat the same movement beginning at the base, as hands should then alternate.
  • As the base is being pulled, men can progress after several minutes to then begin moving their hands (using the same motion) down the middle of the shaft.
  • This process should be repeated for approximately 5 to 10 minutes total.

Dry Milking Warnings

As Jelq exercises require the use of lubricant, Dry Milking may pose a few more serious risks of irritation and/or injury. When engaging in Dry Milking exercises, men should be sure to take all precautions:

  • Do not perform exercises on a flaccid or erect penis. If an erection occurs, exercise should be halted until it goes away.
  • Although the exercises can be tiring on one’s hands, the more one engages in Dry Milking practices, the more comfortable and strong his hands will become.
  • Dry Milking can be competed when lying down, in the shower, standing, or sitting down.
  • If a man experience bruising or marks on his penis after Dry Milking, then he should wait approximately 1 to 2 days before trying the exercises again. Any bruising is a result of excessive and unnecessary tension / strength of one’s grip. When trying the exercise after the penis heals, one should use a less severe grip.
  • Exercises should begin gradually, as men should slowly work up their Dry Milking to an appropriate level.
