When engaging in penis enlarging exercises, individuals should always practice both warm up and warm down activities to prevent injury and increase recovery. Warm up and warm down activities are fairly similar, as the main goal for both of these efforts is to apply heat to the penis and genital region.

As heat helps boost the blood flow to the penis, applied heat during warm up and warm down can alleviate discomfort, increase healing, and potentially boost the efficiency of enlargement results.

What are Warming Down Exercises?

After engaging in one’s preferred method of penis enlargement exercise, a man should consistently also engage in warm down efforts as well. Warming down exercises typically involve applying heat to the penis. To engage in warming down exercises, men can simply adhere to basic warming strategies and efforts, such as:

  • Take a warm bath
  • Take a hot / warm shower
  • Apply a hot (dry or wet) towel to the penis
  • Rest the penis beneath an infrared lamp (approximately 1 to 3 feet from the penis)

By applying heat to the penis, the penis is able to experience a greater flow of blood, while the penis is simultaneously able to loosen the ligaments in the penis. How to Engage in Warming Down Exercises

As there are a variety of warming down options, the most convenient and popular method tends to be the towel-method. To engage in the warming down exercise with the use of a towel, men can simply follow basic instructions:

  • Using a small towel or washcloth, soak the towel in a warm / hot basin of water
  • After the towel absorbs heat from the tub (a few seconds to a minute, depending on water temperature), remove the towel and ring out some of the excess water
  • With the towel wet and warm, gently wrap the towel around the penis and testicles
  • Leave the towel in this position for about a minute, or until the towel feels cool
  • When the minute is up or when the towel cools, place the towel back in the bin of water, allow it to re-heat, and then wrap it around the penis and testicles again
  • Continue this process until the penis has been effectively “warmed” for at least 5 minutes
  • If choosing to use a dry towel, some individuals drape their towel of choice over a heating duct, or place the towel in the dryer or microwave to warm the material. Once a dry towel is warmed to an appropriate temperature, the same application steps can be enacted.
  • Many men typically enact the wet-towel method, as a dry towel heated from various sources can become dangerously hot to the very sensitive penis of the skin. Be sure to check the towel before applying it, regardless if it’s dry or wet, as the penis may react quite harshly to an excessive temperature.
